Sunday Sports Update

Top: Before last week's overtime loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Buffalo Bills hadn't lost consecutive games since October 2020.  If they want to stay in the AFC East hunt, they'll need to end that losing streak today against the Carolina Panthers.  Josh Allen (left) is coming off a foot injury, but will get the start against a Panthers team that is 5-8 and has struggled since bringing back Cam Newton (right) at quarterback.  Listen to today's Bills-Panthers game on WDOE (94.9 FM/101.5 FM/1410 AM), with kickoff from Highmark Stadium at 1:00 PM!  Photos by the Buffalo Bills and Carolina Panthers

Bottom left: The Indianapolis Colts gave the Bills some help in the AFC East race on Saturday.  Jonathan Taylor ran 29 times for 170 yards and a touchdown as they defeated the New England Patriots 27-17 to snap their seven-game winning streak.  That result means a Bills win get them within one game of the Pats.  Photo by the Indianapolis Colts

Bottom right: Fredonia pulled out a dramatic victory in boys high school basketball on Saturday, battling back from an 11-point deficit in the 4th quarter to defeat Harbor Creek 52-49 at SUNY Fredonia.  Billies senior Gabe Schrader scored the game's last six points, including the game-winning shot with 4.2 seconds remaining, shown here.  The win improves Fredonia's record to 3-1 on the season.  Image by Fredonia Access
