Saturday Sports Update
Top: Friday's high school baseball game between Dunkirk and Falconer marked a celebration for Dunkirk head coach Frank Jagoda. The Marauders had no trouble on the diamond, as they delivered an 18-0 win at Al Stuhlmiller Field, the 361st all-time win for Jagoda, surpassing the late Stuhlmiller. After the game, Jagoda spoke with WDOE's Dan Palmer about the win and later addressed his friends, family and former players who came out to witness his record-breaking win. Images by Dan Palmer
Bottom left: Aaron Judge has had a quiet season so far for the New York Yankees. That might have changed on Friday, as Judge launched two home runs in the opener of a three-game series against the Cleveland Guardians. Judge also made a big play defensively, throwing out a runner at third base in the Yankees' 4-1 win. Photo by Newsday
Bottom right: Trae Young was the hero for the Atlanta Hawks on Friday. In Game 3 of their NBA playoff series with the Miami Heat, Young knocked down a floater with 4.4 seconds remaining to give his team a 111-110 win and a 2-1 lead in their Eastern Conference matchup. Photo by USA Today
