Top left: Buffalo Bills General Manager Brandon Beane spoke with reporters on Saturday about his team's selections in this year's NFL Draft. Beane says he's "excited" about the players drafted, including Boise State's Khalil Shakir, who figures to battle for a spot in the team's receiving corps. Top right: Saturday was locker cleanout day for the Buffalo Sabres, whose season came to an end on Friday. Although the team has missed the playoffs again, many players, including leading goal-scorer Tage Thompson, expressed excitement about the team's future after playing much-improved hockey during the second half of the season. Gerrit Cole scattered five hits over six shutout innings as the Yankees defeated the Kansas City Royals 3-0 for their eighth win in a row.
