Saturday Sports Update

The senior drove in four runs on the day and went 3-for-4 at the plate as the Lady Marauders won 13-1. Pacheco was also the winning pitcher, allowing one earned run on four hits while striking out six batters. Photo by Greg Larson
Bottom left: The only noise being heard at Yankee Stadium the last couple of days is the sound of raindrops. Friday's series opener between the New York Yankees and Texas Rangers was postponed due to inclement weather in the forecast for the Bronx, and the same has happened today. As a result, the two teams will play a doubleheader on Sunday and will make up today's game on Monday. Photo by USA Today
Bottom right: Who is that masked man? It's Joel Embiid, who returned to the lineup for the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday after missing the first two games of their NBA Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Miami Heat. The NBA's leading scorer helped give the Sixers a boost with 18 points and 11 rebounds as they won 99-79 to get back into the series. Photo by the Philadelphia 76ers
