Top left: Kyle Tucker of the Houston Astros hits a three-run home run in the 6th inning against the New York Yankees on Friday at Yankee Stadium. That homer broke a scoreless tie and was enough to beat the Yankees by a 3-1 score. The Yanks made the game interesting by bringing the potential game-winning run to the plate, but they were unable to deliver this time. Top right: Yankees slugger Aaron Judge got a huge weight off his shoulder before Friday's game against the Astros. The two sides agreed to a one-year, $19 million contract, avoiding arbitration. It also clears the way for Judge to become a free agent after this MLB season is over. Entering today, Judge leads the Majors with 27 home runs and has 53 RBI on the season. Photo by USA Today

On the brink of elimination, the Lightning went into Denver and spoiled a potential party for the Colorado Avalanche, as Ondrej Palat scored the game-winning goal with 6:22 left in the 3rd period of Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Friday. Bottom right: One of the longest-tenured employees in the history of the Buffalo Bills has passed away. The team announced Friday that Ed Abramowski, who served as an athletic trainer for the franchise for 37 years, died at the age of 88.
