Sunday Sports Update
Top: The Buffalo Bills are hurdling out of their bye week and getting ready for a primetime showdown with the Green Bay Packers. Josh Allen (left) and his team have the AFC's best record at 5-1 and are entering tonight's contest facing a Green Bay Packers team led by 18-year veteran Aaron Rodgers. However, the Packers are on a three-game skid with losses to the New York Giants, New York Jets and Washington Commanders in that stretch, and they have been bitten hard by the injury bug. Tonight's Bills-Packers game can be heard on WDOE (101.5 FM/1410 AM), with kickoff at 8:20 PM! Photos by the Buffalo Bills and the Green Bay Packers
Bottom left: The Buffalo Sabres snapped their two-game losing streak Saturday night, and they came from behind to do it. Victor Olofsson scored two goals in a 4-3 overtime win over the Chicago Blackhawks, including the game-winner in overtime. The winning tally came after Tage Thompson scored twice in the 3rd period to erase a 3-1 deficit. Photo by the Buffalo Sabres
Bottom right: Last season, Fredonia High School's girls soccer program shared a Section VI title in Class B-2. This year, the Lady Billies can keep the blue patches all to themselves after defeating Allegany-Limestone 2-0 in Saturday's Class B-2 final at Sweet Home. Both goals were scored by Rylee Beers, and goalkeeper Sarah Davis recorded her fourth consecutive clean sheet in the postseason. Photo by Section VI
