Top: The Buffalo Bills are not playing today, as they begin their preparations for Thursday's contest against the New England Patriots. However, the Bills did make some roster moves on Saturday. Among them was the return of a familiar face; the team signed wide receiver John Brown (left) to its practice squad. Brown spent two seasons with the Bills, including a 1,000-yard season in 2019. The Bills also called up veteran cornerback Xavier Rhodes (right) from the practice squad after placing rookie Christian Benford on injured reserve. Photos by the Buffalo Bills

The 3rd-ranked Wolverines never relinquished the lead after that point, as they went on to beat the 2nd-ranked Buckeyes 45-23. The CFP rankings will be shaken up considerably with that result, combined with losses by two other top 10 teams -- LSU and Oregon -- on Saturday. Photo by the University of Michigan
Bottom right: While this post by the U.S. Soccer Federation may look innocent enough, it has helped stir up some controversy ahead of Tuesday's World Cup match between the United States and Iran. In this and other social media posts by the federation, the emblems of the Islamic Republic have been scrubbed from the white portion of Iran's flag in what the federation calls "support for the women in Iran fighting for basic human rights." In response, a legal advisor for the Iranian Football Federation says his country will sue the United States.
