Saturday Sports Update
Top: Friday night's high school basketball rivalry game between Dunkirk and Fredonia was a hotly contested affair. After losing in their first meeting of the season in January, the Lady Billies exacted some payback with a 39-30 win to not only split the season series, but also snap an 11-game losing streak. A run of 12 answered points from the 2nd quarter into the early part of the 3rd quarter put the home team ahead for good. Dahlin was called up to the Eastern Conference roster after Sabres forward Tage Thompson left the team's last game with an injury. Bottom right: As Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin continues to recover from cardiac arrest, he is teaming up with the American Heart Association to encourage people to learn hands-only CPR. Hamlin announced the partnership in a video posted to social media. American Heart Association CEO Nancy Brown tells ABC News that Hamlin "wants everyone to have the same chance at life that he had."
