Sunday Sports Update
Top: This is what the field looks like at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, where the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will battle in Super Bowl LVII. The Chiefs' third Super Bowl appearance in the last four years was spurred largely by their high-powered offense led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Meanwhile, the Eagles are making their first Super Bowl appearance in five years after steamrolling the New York Giants and the San Francisco 49ers in their two playoff games. WDOE (101.5 FM/1410 AM) will have live coverage of tonight's contest via the Westwood One Radio Network. Kickoff is slated for 6:30 PM. Photo by the Kansas City Chiefs
Bottom left: Buffalo Sabres head coach Don Granato characterized his team's performance on Saturday as a team that didn't play in 10 days. Those comments were made after the Sabres lost 7-2 to the Calgary Flames in their first game since the NHL's All-Star break. The Sabres led 2-0 at the end of the 1st period, then gave up seven unanswered goals. Photo by the Buffalo Sabres
