Saturday Sports Update
Top left: Without a doubt, one of the greatest players in NFL history, and regarded by some as THE greatest. Former Cleveland Browns running back Jim Brown passed away on Thursday at age 87. Although his NFL career lasted only nine seasons, Brown was a dominant force, leading the league in rushing in eight of those seasons. He retired at age 30 as the league's all-time leading rusher and went on to pursue an acting career. Before entering the NFL, Jim Brown made a name for himself at Syracuse University -- not just playing football, but also basketball, track and field, and lacrosse.

A 6th-round selection in 2021, the 19-year-old Russian has spent the past two seasons playing professionally in the KHL.
Bottom right: Chautauqua County has a new all-time wins leader in high school baseball. On Friday, Silver Creek head coach Mike Janisch picked up his 510th career victory as his Black Knights defeated Brocton by a 7-2 score in their regular season finale.
