A Westfield man faces charges of DWI and aggravated DWI after he was allegedly found to be driving with a blood alcohol content three times the legal limit. Westfield Police responded to an incident at 238 East Main Street during the evening of November 23rd and discovered that 25-year-old William Zachary had allegedly arrived on scene intoxicated. Officers say they were speaking with the complainant at a separate location when they saw Zachary driving without his taillights on. Zachary was pulled over and then taken into custody after undergoing standardized field sobriety tests. He was taken to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office, where he allegedly recorded a BAC of .24%. In addition to the drunk driving charges, Zachary was ticketed for no/insufficient tail lamps. He is scheduled to appear in Westfield Village Court at a later date.
