A man was arrested in Pomfret following an altercation that violated an order of protection. On Saturday around 8:25pm, Chautauqua County Sheriff's Deputies responded to an address in the Town of Pomfret for a reported altercation. Through investigation, it was determined that 41-year-old Alexander Reilly had allegedly stolen property that belonged to another person, and had violated an order of protection in doing so. Reilly was arrested and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment. He will appear in the Town of Pomfret Court at a later date.
