A recent traffic stop in downtown Jamestown led to the arrest of a city man. On February 7th, Jamestown Police pulled over a vehicle for violations in the area of East 5th Street and Potters Alley at about 12:15 AM. Officers say an investigation found that the driver, 51-year-old Nathan Abers, was under the influence of alcohol and was driving with a license that was revoked for a prior DWI. Abers was transported to the Jamestown City Jail for DWI, two counts of 1st-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, and multiple traffic violations.
