A traffic stop on a vehicle in downtown Jamestown led to a drunk driving charge against the driver. On Saturday, March 1st, Jamestown Police pulled over 48-year-old Frankie Colon-Velazquez in the area of North Main Street and West 1st Street at about 3:45 AM. Officers say Colon-Velazquez appeared to be impaired by alcohol, and he failed standard field sobriety tests. After he provided a breath sample, Colon-Velazquez was charged with DWI, 3rd-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, and uniform traffic tickets. He was later released and will answer the charges in Jamestown City Court.
