A recent traffic stop in the Village of Westfield led to a drunk driving charge against a Sherman woman. Westfield Police pulled over a vehicle on Chestnut Street shortly before midnight on June 18th and determined that the driver, 31-year-old Makala Persons, was allegedly intoxicated. Officers say an investigation found that her BAC was .12%. Persons was charged with DWI, speeding, and no license plate number. She was issued appearance tickets for Westfield Town Court.
