Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies took a Fredonia woman into custody on a criminal contempt charge in the Town of Hanover on Sunday. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Route 39 just before 1:30 PM. They discovered that 28-year-old Deanna Caparatta had a full stay-away order of protection against another person inside the vehicle. Caparatta was charged with 2nd-degree criminal contempt and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
