A report of a domestic incident on Jamestown's north side Wednesday evening led to the arrest of a city man. Officers with the Jamestown Police Department's K-9 and Violence Interdiction units responded to the scene shortly after 9:15 PM and saw 18-year-old Raymond Medina leaving a residence where he had a valid order of protection to stay away from. Medina fled on foot, causing officers to set a perimeter. He was taken into custody after K-9 Grimm tracked him down behind a residence. During the incident, officers discovered that Medina was allegedly in possession of more than three ounces of methamphetamine. He was taken to the Jamestown City Jail and held pending arraignment on charges of 2nd- and 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, and 2nd-degree criminal contempt.
