The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a severe thunderstorm warning until 2:15 PM for an area that includes the southeastern portion of Chautauqua County. At 1:17 PM, radar indicated severe thunderstorms along a line extending from seven miles west of Ashford Hollow to near West Ellicott, moving east at 30 MPH. Wind gusts up to 60 MPH and penny-size hail are possible. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include Jamestown, Salamanca, Allegany State Park, Falconer, Ashford, Franklinville, Rushford, Ashford Hollow, Houghton and Frewsburg. This includes I-86 between Exits 14 and 23.
