JPS Cuts Ribbon on Renovated Jamestown High School Cafeteria

The ribbon was cut this week on the new, brightened and expanded Jamestown High School cafeteria. Jamestown Public Schools Superintendent Kevin Whitaker and High School Principal Allyson Smith had the honors in cutting the ribbon on the new cafeteria in the same part of JHS, which is part of an overall $83 million renovation project at the school. Dr. Whitaker says he has already given a few tours, and the reactions have been the same...

Students had been served in the old gymnasium while the renovations were taking place. That, along with renovations at the Merton P. Corwin Auditorium, are expected to be completed by the end of this calendar year.
