A Sherman man was charged after an investigation into a report of a person with a weapon. On Saturday around 10:40 PM, deputies with the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office followed up on a complaint for an incident that occurred in the Village of Sherman last Monday. An investigation determined that 66-year-old Ronald Reed was found to have allegedly threatened an individual during a verbal altercation. Reed was issued an appearance ticket for aggravated harassment and will answer for his charge at Mina Town Court at a later date and time.
