Investigators Seek Information from Former Cabinet Shop Workers in Kathy Wilson Murder Case

The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office is investigating a new lead into the 1988 killing of a Jamestown woman. The Sheriff's Office announced Friday that it is asking employees who worked at the now-closed MCM Enterprises at 117 Liberty Street in Russell, Pennsylvania at the time of Wilson's murder to contact the Sheriff's Office. Wilson was kidnapped and murdered on May 18, 1988, and her remains were found in a wooded area in Warren County, Pennsylvania. Her van was found the following day in the parking lot of the Chautauqua Mall in Lakewood. Anyone who worked at the MCM Enterprises location in 1988 and was not previously interviewed by investigators is being asked to call the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office Unsolved Crimes Unit at (716) 753-4578 or e-mail [email protected]. The Sheriff's Office adds that former MCM Enterprises employees who were previously interviewed do not need to contact the Sheriff's Office unless they have new information they want to share with investigators.
