Severe Weather Possible Through End of Week Amid Increasing Heat, Humidity

A very warm and humid air mass could fuel some severe weather across Western New York throughout the remainder of the week. The National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center has the entire region under at least a marginal severe weather risk from now through Friday. Tony Ansuini: increased risk Thursday and Friday
Ansuini adds that high temperatures are forecast to reach the mid to upper 80s on Thursday and Friday. That, combined with the humidity, will lead to heat index values as high as the mid 90s.
