The Governor's Traffic Safety Committee (GTSC) has announced that law enforcement agencies across New York State issued 110,006 tickets in the annual "Buckle Up New York, Click It or Ticket" seatbelt enforcement campaign that ran May 18-31. The GTSC sponsors the annual enforcement drive, designed to remind motorists of the importance of wearing your seat belt and properly restraining children every trip, every seat, every time.

- Alcohol/drugs: 2,737
- Distracted driving: 5,153
- Move Over Law: 847
- Seatbelt: 13,235
- Speeding: 15,393
- Other violations: 72,641
