
A Jamestown man has been charged after he allegedly acted in a disorderly manner inside UPMC Chautauqua on Sunday. Jamestown Police responded to the hospital shortly before 5:30 PM and were met by 52-year-old Robert Pearson, whom officers described as "combative." They discovered that Pearson had allegedly damaged hospital property, threatened staff, and caused them a substantial inconvenience while doing so. He was taken into custody after a brief struggle and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. He is being held pending arraignment on charges of 2nd-degree menacing, 3rd-degree criminal mischief, 3rd-degree criminal tampering, and resisting arrest.
