The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that the bridge carrying I-86 over Chautauqua Lake will be closed on two occasions this week as part of an ongoing rehabilitation project. According to the DOT, the eastbound lanes only will be closed from 3:00-6:00 AM Tuesday. Also, the eastbound and westbound lanes will be closed from 10:00 PM Wednesday until 6:00 AM Thursday. Motorists should follow the posted detour utilizing Route 394 and Route 430.
