Second Heat Advisory Issued, Starting Wednesday Afternoon

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a second heat advisory for most of Western New York, as heat and humidity continue building across the region. The heat advisory that began Tuesday afternoon will expire at 8:00 PM. Meanwhile, an extreme heat warning has been issued for some areas north of Buffalo, where heat indices could reach 105.
