
A narcotics probe reported by Chautauqua County Probation officers led to the arrest of a Jamestown woman Thursday afternoon. Jamestown Police responded to a residence on the city's east side shortly before 3:45 PM and discovered that 44-year-old Lisa George was allegedly in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine, digital scales, and other paraphernalia. George was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail to be held pending arraignment on one count of 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of 2nd-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.
