A Jamestown man was taken into custody after he was found barricaded inside the office of a city business with a knife. Jamestown Police responded to the scene on the city's south side shortly after 11:00 PM last Friday and located the man, who was later identified as 47-year-old Michael DeMarco. Officers learned after speaking with bystanders that DeMarco had allegedly swung the knife in the direction of two separate victims. He was charged with two counts of 2nd-degree menacing and one count of 3rd-degree criminal possession of a weapon and is being held in the Chautauqua County Jail on $10,000 bail.
