
Catholic Charities of Buffalo has announced that total philanthropic gifts for its 2025-2026 fiscal year increased by 7.8% compared to the previous year, reaching $9,075,325, reflecting the generosity and commitment of donors across Western New York. The total includes $7,280,436 raised through Appeal 2026, along with nearly $1.8 million in additional charitable giving, including gifts designated for specific Catholic Charities programs, donations made in honor or memory of loved ones, and legacy gifts that help ensure the agency's mission continues for generations to come. Appeal 2026, which ran from January 1st through June 30th, raised more than 91% of its $8 million goal. Appeal donations are used exclusively to support the essential programs and services provided by Catholic Charities of Buffalo and the Fund for the Faith.
