A Fredonia resident who has spent several years with the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation is taking on a new role with another local nonprofit organization. The United Way of Chautauqua County has hired Leslie Wille as its Director of Growth and Engagement, a new position created to strengthen relationships with donors and increase organizational impact. Wille joins the United Way after serving as NCCF's Community Engagement Coordinator, spending five years cultivating partnerships and supporting charitable initiatives for the foundation. She also brings more than 15 years of leadership experience from a volunteer-driven charitable organization dedicated to philanthropy and community service.
Additionally, Wille has served on United Way's volunteer Allocations Committee, making her familiar with United Way's network and impact in Chautauqua County. As part of the Allocations Committee, she has helped evaluate community investments and helped ensure donor dollars have been directed to programs they can make the greatest impact.
As Director of Growth and Engagement, Wille will work alongside others in the organization to align fundraising, donor engagement, volunteer initiatives, sponsorships, and community partnerships with United Way's mission of mobilizing the community to help every person and family improve their lives.
