Two 18-year-old Jamestown residents were taken into custody after drugs and weapons were seized from a residence in the city Thursday morning. Members of the Jamestown Police SWAT Team executed a search warrant at 352 Falconer Street shortly after 6:30 AM as part of a narcotics investigation. Alexis Morales-DeJesus, Niderah Manuel, and three juveniles were located inside the residence, and detectives found two revolver-style handguns, a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun, a quantity of fentanyl, digital scales, packaging materials, and a quantity of cash. Police add that Morales-DeJesus tried to run back into the residence while the SWAT team was actively clearing it. Morales-DeJesus and Manuel were both charged with two counts of 3rd-degree criminal possession of a weapon, three counts of criminal possession of a firearm, 3rd- and 4th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of 2nd-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Morales-DeJesus was additionally charged with 2nd-degree obstruction. He was arraigned in Jamestown City Court and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail, while Manuel was sent to the jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
