An ATV rollover crash in Allegany County claimed the life of a mother and one of her children on Thursday. According to State Police in Amity, an investigation found that 38-year-old Ashley Robichaud of Wellsville was operating the four-wheeler with her two children and was traveling the fence line in a pasture near Niles Hill Road in the Town of Wellsville. Troopers say the ATV overturned when it was at the lowest point of elevation in the pasture. As a result, the vehicle pinned Ashley and six-year-old Emersyn Robichaud underneath. The two were pronounced dead at the scene, while Ashley's three-year-old child was transported to a Rochester hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
