Large Crowd Turns Out for Final Night of Gerry Rodeo

The 81st edition of the Gerry Rodeo came to a somewhat wet conclusion Saturday night after a rainstorm hit the area shortly after the start of the competition. A number of people were seen leaving the rodeo grounds, but a large crowd remained for the rest of the show. On Friday, the rain stopped earlier, and longtime rodeo publicist Paul Cooley reported a full house on hand for their third night. Saturday afternoon featured a free kids rodeo, where kids could dress up and play rodeo-related games in the arena supervised by Rodeo personnel. This was the 81st year for the Gerry Rodeo.
