The Powerball jackpot is getting close to the $1 billion mark. The big prize for the multi-state lottery game is now up to an estimated $975 million after no ticket matched all six numbers in Monday night's drawing. Powerball officials say the jackpot is currently the largest in 2026 and the eighth-largest in the game's history. It has now been 43 consecutive drawings since the last Powerball jackpot was won on May 2nd.
