This week at Chautauqua Institution will be one to tickle your taste buds. Week 8, themed "The Future of Food: Climate, Technology and the Next Agricultural Revolution," will examine how we grow, share and experience food in a rapidly changing world. Chautauqua spokesperson Jill McCormick, who was a call-in guest on WDOE's "Viewpoint" program on Friday, says chefs and journalists will examine how evolving agricultural and distribution networks will shape the future...
Jill McCormick: processing and handling of food is a hot topic
Among the featured guests at the Amphitheater will be Nyesha Arrington, co-star of "Next Level Chef" and host of "Plateworthy"; plus comedian Preacher Lawson and bestselling author Michael Grunwald. McCormick says the week will also be a celebration of food, and that includes the Taste of Chautauqua, which kicks off on Wednesday at 3:00 PM...

Meanwhile, the Chautauqua Food Festival -- a two-week celebration of flavor, ideas, performance and gathering -- kicked off on Sunday and will continue through August 29th.
