The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office has charged a homeless woman who allegedly abandoned a dog and two cats in the Town of Stockton with no means of care. The Sheriff's Office says it received a complaint on July 2nd regarding the abandoned animals at a residence on County Route 380. Following an investigation, 42-year-old Katherine Gonzalez was charged with three counts of overdriving, torturing and injuring animals; and one count of abandonment of animals, all under New York Ag & Markets Law. Gonzalez was issued an appearance ticket for Stockton Town Court.
