The Jamestown Police Department says it is looking for help in identifying a person who stole a lawn mower from a business on the city's south side. Video footage posted on the department's Facebook page indicates that the theft occurred shortly after 6:45 PM last Friday at True Value on Foote Avenue. Police say the mower that was stolen was an Ariens 42-inch precision gear tractor with serial number 0128130032200. Anyone with information regarding the individual is asked to call the Jamestown Police Department at (716) 483-7537 or its anonymous tip line at (716) 483-8477.
UPDATE: Jamestown Police announced Thursday afternoon that the stolen lawn mower was located and returned, and the suspect has been identified.
