Kathy Hochul: another broken promise

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand echoed Hochul's sentiments in a statement following Hochul's announcement. Gillibrand said Trump is "using New Yorkers as political pawns once again," adding that "defunding our law enforcement and counterterrorism operations is especially egregious and unsafe." Hochul and Gillibrand made their comments as the United States approaches the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks.
