An altercation in the Village of Mayville late Tuesday afternoon resulted in the arrest of a Jamestown woman. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies were called to the scene on Academy Street shortly before 4:30 PM. After further investigation, 44-year-old Claudia Sanchez was taken into custody and charged with 2nd-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Sanchez was later taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
