The Mental Health Association in Chautauqua County will host its 2026 Dunkirk Art in Recovery Exhibit on Friday from 5:00-7:30 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church, located at 601 Eagle Street. The show will feature a variety of works created by participants in the weekly Art in Recovery group facilitated by Wing (pictured), an MHA volunteer. The works are artistic expressions of the participants' own creativity and personal recovery. Everyone is welcome to this free exhibit made possible in part by support from the United Arts Appeal of Chautauqua County Projects Pool Grants Program. Light refreshments will be served.
Art in Recovery is one of the dozen groups and classes that meet weekly in the MHA's north county recovery center. Hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Public computers are available to anyone to use during open hours. Staff can help with job applications, resumes, apartment searches, and more. The center is maintained with the help of a grant from the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation.
