As the new school year gets underway, New York will be expanding free, high-quality pre-K in more than half of all public school districts statewide. Governor Kathy Hochul, who announced the launch of the multi-year expansion on Wednesday, says it will bring tens of thousands of new pre-K seats online across the state over the coming years. The expansion includes 58 districts across Western New York.
