Indigo Girls Performing at Chautauqua Institution on Thursday

The summer season at Chautauqua Institution may be over, but there's more entertainment scheduled on the grounds this week. The duo of Amy Ray and Emily Sailers, also known as the Indigo Girls, will bring their Grammy-winning folk music for what the Institution describes as a "shoulder season" performance Thursday evening. McCormick says the pair's live songs "sound exactly like the recordings as you remember them." The Indigo Girls have sold more than 15 million records over a 35-year career. Thursday's show begins at 7:00 PM, and tickets can be purchased at Chautauqua Institution's website.
