New York Medical Center Opens New Facility in Irving

Behavioral health and addiction treatment services are returning to northern Chautauqua County, more than five years after the closing of Lake Shore Hospital. Officials from New York Medical Center, along with several local officials, were on hand to cut the ribbon Thursday afternoon on the organization's new facility at the former hospital in Irving. Borrello and Wendel also presented Manning proclamations in honor of the new facility, Once fully complete, it will contain 162 beds, with behavioral health services to be added over the next two years. NYMC will begin accepting patients at the new facility on Monday.
