Fredonia Police Seeking Disclipinary Charges Against Employee

A member of the Fredonia Police Department is facing a possible suspension without pay. During Monday's Village Board meeting, trustees approved two resolutions pertaining to what's described as "certain allegations against a particular employee," who has not been publicly identified. Trustees Ben Brauchler and LeeAnn Lazarony echoed Wandel. One resolution appoints an officer to oversee a disciplinary hearing, while the second authorizes Chief Greg Myers to suspend the accused employee without pay upon delivery of charges against him. Myers has investigated the matter and discussed it with trustees in executive session.
