
A Cattaraugus County man faces charges of 4th-degree stalking and 2nd-degree harassment after he was allegedly found to have placed a GPS tracking device onto a victim's vehicle in Allegany. Cattaraugus County Sheriff's deputies say 41-year-old Matthew Sperling of Hinsdale was taken into custody early Sunday morning after an investigation. Sperling was arraigned in Olean City Court and released on his own recognizance. He is due to appear in Allegany Town Court at a later date.
