A Jamestown man was taken into custody after allegedly threatening to kill multiple police officers Thursday afternoon. Jamestown Police responded to a report of a suspicious person at about 4:15 PM on the city's east side, where 42-year-old Brandon Jimerson was located at a condemned address. Jimerson allegedly displayed a knife as one officer approached and waved the knife, threatening to kill that officer and other officers. Another officer responded, and Jimerson allegedly waved the knife at that officer. He then allegedly threw the knife at one of the officers. Jimerson was taken into custody a short time later and charged with two counts of menacing a police officer, 2nd-degree attempted assault, 3rd-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and trespassing. Jimerson was held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
