A Town of Dunkirk man is facing charges following a report of an altercation at a homeless encampment in the town early Friday. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies and State Police responded to the incident shortly after 12:15 AM. An investigation determined that 47-year-old Neil Timmerman allegedly intentionally violated a lawful court order he had been served. Timmerman was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment. He has been charged with 2nd-degree harassment and 2nd-degree criminal contempt and will appear in Dunkirk Town Court at a later date.
