The Erie County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Brant man on a warrant issued out of Cayuga County. Deputies say 56-year-old Daryll Jimerson faces multiple counts of 3rd-degree criminal possession of a weapon; criminal possession of cannabis; and willful possession, transport, or sale of 30,000 or more unstamped cigarettes stemming from a State Police investigation. On Monday, the Sheriff's Office Narcotics and Intelligence Unit and U.S. Marshals Service Regional Fugitive Task Force received information regarding Jimerson's location. Deputies say Jimerson was seen entering a motor vehicle, and he was taken into custody without incident after a traffic stop. Jimerson was turned over to State Police.
