Betty Ann Mancuso, 68, formerly of Fredonia, went home to Jesus -- whom she had a personal relationship with -- on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at the Houghton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Houghton. Betty Ann battled health problems throughout her life. She was born on October 27, 1957 in Dunkirk, daughter of the late Cosimo and Jennie (Maulucci) Mancuso.
Raised in Fredonia, Betty Ann attended and graduated from St. Anthony Catholic School and Fredonia High School. She then went on to Hilbert College in Hamburg, where she studied criminal justice. Betty Ann worked as a loss prevention officer at Sears & Roebuck in Hamburg. Many might remember Betty Ann from when she worked at the Fotomat kiosks in Fredonia. She also enjoyed various crafts as a hobby. Above all, Betty Ann was a woman of great faith, a faith that guided her throughout her life.
Betty Ann is survived by two sisters, Carolyn Ardillo of Fredonia and Mary Ann Kreger of Sheridan; two brothers-in-law, James White and Mark Seybold; and many nieces and nephews, including Karen White, who was a great source of support to her. Besides her parents, Cosimo and Jennie Mancuso, Betty Ann is predeceased by three sisters, Rose (late Edward) Boll, Carmella White and Linda Seybold; her brother, John Mancuso (late Sally Kucharski); and two brothers-in-law, Ronald Gloss and David Ardillo.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 6 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Larson-Timko Funeral Home, 20 Central Avenue in Fredonia. Betty Ann will be buried from her home Church, St. Anthony's Church in Fredonia; a church she truly loved, was raised in and from where she received all her sacraments. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church at 42 Orchard Street on Tuesday, April 7 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in St. Anthony Cemetery.
Flowers gratefully declined. Mass cards in Betty Ann's memory would be appreciated, as would memorial contributions to Northern Chautauqua Catholic School, 336 Washington Avenue, Dunkirk, NY 14048.
