Christopher John Patri

Christopher John Patri, born on January 13, 1972 in Syracuse, passed away peacefully of natural causes on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at his home in Westfield at the age of 54. He is now reunited in heaven with his father, Richard Patri.

He is survived by his loving mother, Beth (Connelly) Patri of Westfield; his brother, Rick Patri; beloved nephew, Maximus Patri of Los Angeles, CA; his aunt, Marianne Patri Sollitt of Rochester; many cousins; along with Jon Northrop and Tom Sollitt.

Chris graduated from Cicero-North Syracuse High School, SUNY Cobleskill, and attended Northeastern University in Boston. While in Boston, he built a career in the culinary world, working alongside some of the most talented chefs in the country at a variety of respected restaurants. He took great pride in his craft and the relationships he built along the way. Outside of the kitchen, Chris had a deep love for fishing and the outdoors. Whether on the water or spending time in nature, he found peace and joy in the simple moments.

Chris dearly loved his family; he had a kind heart always putting others before himself. His family takes comfort in knowing that he is at peace and they will carry him in their hearts forever.

There will be no official calling hours or services. A celebration of his life will be planned in the warmth of this coming summer.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason Funeral Home, 37 Clinton Street in Westfield. Please share online condolences at www.masonfuneral.com.
